Taste notes: Mango, jasmine, maple syrup
The first lot I bought from producer Wilder Garcia back in March 2023 was a mix of Caturra, Bourbon, Typica, Java and Geisha, i.e. the fruits of all his coffee trees combined into one.
Following some gentle encouragement from Volcafe Select (the importer), this year Mr Garcia has kindly separated out his Geisha cherries so we get the opportunity to taste his coffee in its pure form, at it’s very best.
The result is this; a cup of mango and maple syrup with a delightfully delicate jasmine aftertaste. Excellent stuff.
