Can you guess what colour flowers the Purpuracea varietal produces? Yeah ok the name does give it away somewhat. This coffee isn’t just pretty to look at though, it’s also very pretty to taste at.
This is the second lot I purchased from multi-cup-of-excellence-winning farm El Socorro this harvest.
El Socorro’s secret washing tekkers involves using hot water following the milling process, leading to a quicker fermentation time and optimal density for roasting, resulting in a greater cup quality.
Expect a complex, honey-sweet, floral, layered and structured brew.
