Process: Washed
Varietal: Heirloom
Taste Notes: Peach, apricot, orange blossom, citrus
Banko Gotiti washing station is a name you’re probably familiar with, each year producing some of the highest quality and most ‘quintessentially Ethiopian’ coffees in Yirgacheffe.
Tasting this seasons crop immediately transported me back 10 years, to what many consider to be, a peak time for washed Ethiopian coffees.
It’s tasting peachy as heck, refreshingly citrusy and moreish. Quite honestly this coffee has reminded me of all the reasons I got into speciality coffee in the first place.
